My employer is Wake Forest Baptist Health in the Pathology Department. I work second shift in the Hematology laboratory examining blood and body fluids under the microscope. For you Doctors out there, 70% of diagnoses are based on laboratory results.

After 19-yrs. at Baptist hospital a headhunter reached out to me with a new opportunity. My new employer is Novant Health-Forsyth Medical Center. I’m working in the department of Transfusion Services. In the first time of my career I’m working day shift and no weekends. So glad I took a chance at change at the end of my career.

Well I finally got my B.S. degree. Just graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a major in Clinical Laboratory Science.
